The years between 1941 and 1946 were tough. But this old camera survived and made it to me from New York. It was rusted shut and took some work to get it open.
I’ve been having a long string of unsuccessful “found film”
efforts and rust wasn’t going to stop me.

Far and away the favorite snapshot photograph subject is the child.
No matter who we are we feel the weight of time.
That’s a 1958 Mercury behind the flower bearer on her way to something
important.
