J. Raymond, from Pownal ME, sent a roll of film from a Kodak Junior 620. The camera dates from the 1930’s. The film was wound tighter than a crack-freak but I managed to get it onto a processing reel.

Found films come in all sorts of condition. I have a soft spot for film that’s been through the mill. The photos are dreamy and unreal. Much like our memories of lost times and places.

Although the print is faded, the adoration for the tilted crossing guard is plain to see. I’ll bet it’s her older brother.
