The A35 F is not quite a point and shoot camera. You have to
focus this little rangefinder but the camera does the rest. The lens
opening that the camera chooses is displayed in the viewfinder. No
indication of shutter speed. Most people that bought this camera didn't
know what shutter speed was and
didn't care.
If there's not enough light, the shutter locks. You can then choose to
pop up the flash or say the hell with it. I scoffed at cameras like
this for years. Now I think they're cool.
